A FIGHT FOR SURVIVAL

This is an experimental documentary on the production of the music for the A Fight For Survival cabaret @ Yirramboi Festival 2021. The cabaret tells the story of Northland Secondary College, one of few high schools in Victoria with Koori education. In 1992, the Liberal Kennett government slashed budget in education and forced the closure of schools in Victoria including Northland. The Koori community and allies banded together in protest for 2 years until the government reopened the school in 1994.
